Kids say. You post. We Laugh. Introducing SquirtBlurt.com
ATLANTA – June 16, 2010 - We all know kids say the darndest things and sharing them with your friends and family seems so natural, but oftentimes it’s hard to remember verbal gems the next day. That’s not a problem anymore thanks to a newly launched website called Squirt Blurt (http://www.SquirtBlurt.com), dedicated to recording and sharing the funny things kids say.
“The idea came to us because our kids are at that age when they say really funny, precious things and we wanted a place where we can share what our children are saying and read what others had to share,” says Sundy Aimee Visbal, co-founder of Squirt Blurt and mother of 2 young boys. Visbal and two friends, Jeremy Self and John Malloy, decided to create the site after sharing funny kid stories to one another through Facebook. It was then that they realized there was a need to create a common place for people to record and share these insights and witticisms of children and bring laughter and hilarity to others.
“My kids will say something really funny and then five minutes later I’ve forgotten what it was they said,” she said. “Squirtblurt.com is a unique site that focuses on those cute and sometimes laugh-out-loud funny things children say. We want it to be a place where people can post what their kids said and share with a community of people like themselves. Eventually we plan to allow parents to be able to post videos and photos to the site. We are also working on developing the mobile application. We just don’t want those wonderful moments of what kids say to be lost. And with SquirtBlurt.com, they won’t have be.”
