Yesterday we took our dog for a walk. As we were walking through the neighborhood a car passed us and I waved. The driver in the car waved back. Mateo asked, "Mom, do you know that person?". I replied, "no". He then asked,"Well then why did you wave at them?" I proceeded to explain that I was being polite. He then asked, "Are dogs polite?"
